Breakfast. It makes a body happy.

Here's mine, usually eaten around 10am after one or two cups of coffee:

1 cup oatmeal (thick rolled)
1 oz raisins
1 T butter
1/4 c milk or half&half
1 T maple syrup.

Soak the oats & raisins in hot water for 10 minutes or so. Then add everything else and nuke for a few minutes until thick and chewy. Yum.

When I'm having other kinds of cravings, I will go for my other backup breakfast, chocolate malt-o-meal with milk. But sometimes, you just need breakfast to be chewy, rather than like pudding. So those lumps that inadvertently form in malt-o-meal if you don't stir it? Tasty!
