This is the answer I received when I asked someone older than myself as we passed each other on a mountain trail, "Does time just keep speeding up, forever?"
Sheesh.
So, its the end of the year. Again. Time for crazy stunts like deciding I am going to do every single damn thing in this book, all 365 days' worth. It is not time for a crazy stunt like going out and bingeing on booze all night then retching for hours tomorrow. Damn, do I ever sound old....
However, I will be out in the AM, watching all of those hapless souls who drag themselves to The Frontier (or maybe Milton's? Hmmm...) at 10 a.m., hoping for some chile-fied version of hair of the dog.
Finally, if you are ever in Decatur, IL and you are in dire need of roast beef, you are sorely out of luck. Sorry 'bout that.
