Baskin' in the Past Year
Its really not been so bad, my 31st year. In that time span here’s what I have done:
- quit my corporate job - started a personal chef business (Food Part) - Visited the far east (China) for the first time - Make separate trips to see family in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Los Angeles - Further improved my physique through weightlifting such that I’m in the best shape of my life right now (grrrr!) - Notched my 2nd finish at Hardrock, my favorite ultra event - Started my published writing career, in 2 venues, one online and one print - Have begun another consulting business/career in technical writing
So, despite the enormous amounts of free time I spent just hanging around the house, not too shabby for your average year.
Happy 32nd to me, and I’d like to make this year just as productive if not more so than the previous, and continue to have amazing food adventures to write about and share with you.
Not to worry - I WILL write about my all-day food adventure on my birthday, with photos, very soon!
