Learning to be an Earth Muffin  
Earth Muffins, if you haven't heard the term (and you may not have because I have used it for awhile but don't personally overhear it being used by other people), are vaguely hippie-esque young women all along the commitment spectrum from mere Birkenstocks to body hair and patchouli oil. In other words, your average Co-op shopper.

Today on Food Migration I found a lovely little post about being a midwesterner for the first time at the Berkeley Whole Foods Market, blown away by the spectacle. Enjoy!
