Hardrock Chatter
Soon I will sleep for the first time in about 42 hours, after manning the finish line aid station inside the high school gym, cooking burgers and tending homemade soup for the runners and volunteers. I didn't think I would make the drive home but I downed coffee and fought the nodding off for several hours and made it in one piece, thankfully. What a fantastically fun time, even if it was surreal to not be on the start line for the first time since 1999.... sheesh.

Congrats to EVERYONE, from Karl to Betsy to Bob "THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!!!" Bachani to John DeWalt (first 70 year old finisher, and his 11th finish) to Matt Mahoney in 5 minutes past the final cutoff.....
