Mobile Birthday Blogging
Once yet again, it is the day commemorating the anniversary of my tush getting squeezed out into the world. (Thanks, Mom, for that, and for getting me out before midnight!)
I host an annual fun run in the foothills (actually a couple of them, but this is one...), and now I await the return of the remaining dude on the course while blogging on my MDA. My morning long run was a satisfying 2.5 hours followed by one of that most Holy Grail of sweets: the Rice KrispE Treat.
When in school we were expected to bring something for the class on our birthday and in my family it fell to that perfect marriage of gooey-sweet-crunch. Requiring no cooking yet satisfying everyone, it was no-fail.
 This year I made my own for the first time in MANY years and passed them out to hungry runners. Truly a wonderful thing, making faces light up like a 10 year old's. I didn't even top them with jelly beans like my Mom did...
On your next birthday, do something that utterly satisfies you... and something that makes a friend's face light up. It makes for a delightful day.
