Jon Haskew

Jon grew up in South Pittsburg, TN. After earning All-State honors, as a football player, he began training in Mixed Martial Arts in late 1999.

Jon enrolled at Middle Tennessee State University, and while studying for his Bachelor's Degree, he began to make trips to Nashville and Smyrna to train Mixed Martial Arts and Submission Grappling. He also joined the MTSU Wrestling Club for three seasons to further understand all aspects of grappling.

Competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu  and no-gi Submission Grappling, Jon won several tournaments throughout the state. He began teaching in 2004 while in college and has coached several amateur MMA champions in the area. He has travelled to places like New York City and San Diego to train with some of the world's best: Erik Paulson, Brandon Vera, Rich Franklin, Allan Goes, Ryron Gracie, Rob Kaman, Carlson Gracie Jr., Israel Gomes, Renato Tavares and more.

Jon is qualified to teach Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts and wrestling. Jon obtained his Personal Trainer Certification in 2008 under the American Counsel on Exercise (ACE) and is competent in several methods of training for all combat sports.
