Class Descriptions
We all start somewhere. This class is only 30 minutes and is a gentle, slow paced introduction to fitness for those just getting started.
An energizing combination of Pilates, Yoga, and Rehab exercises to help strengthen the weak areas of the body that are prone to injury. We even do a cool-down with Wim Hof breathing. This class is for all fitness levels.
Tumbling is gymnastics without the bars. Many of the girls who do tumbling at Tenacity also do cheerleading. In Tumbling, kids have fun learning all kinds of flips and tricks. Tumbling helps kids build confidence and stay healthy.
We teach kids how to defend themselves in tough situations. Brazillian Jiu Jitsu uses takedowns, throws and groundwork as an effective means of self-defense.
BJJ is the fastest growing martial art among adults. BJJ is a grappling based martial art that focuses on getting the opponent to the ground and applying a submission. It is great for self-defense, creates body awareness and also calms the mind.
A class that focuses on naturally increasing strength, testosterone, energy and well-being in men.
A cardio class built around energizing modern dance. This is one of the most popular and fun classes at Tenacity.
This is a slower paced version of Dance Fitness meant for those who are beginners or not up for the higher paced class.
A class that mixes bodyweight exercises with weights to make your body look its best in the fastest amount of time. If you like to be challenged, this is the class for you.
This is a fitness class designed with the unique needs of those over 40 in mind.  
This is our beginner’s yoga. It offers an introduction to yoga positions and stretches, and participants report feeling energized afterwards.
This is Tenacity’s most advanced form of yoga. Hot power yoga is challenging but it is also very rewarding! Performed in a heated room, our Hot Power Yoga lasts an hour and a half and often includes ab work as well.
Wrestling is one of the most common arts in MMA. We learn wrestling takedowns and other wrestling technique applicable to mixed martial arts.
Kids create their own adventure challenges and obstacle courses, keep a logbook of their personal records and win prizes when they break their own persona record.
Climbing Club meets on the 3rd Saturday of every month for bouldering and route setting. New climbers are welcome to come learn techniques from more experienced climbers.
