Early in her fitness career, Megan's preferred exercise was running with very little weight lifting. Even though running was great mentally, Megan wanted to feel strong in a different way. She got curious about others in the gym using barbells, lifting heavy dumbbells, crushing chin-ups, etc. and wondered if she could achieve the same thing. Even though she initially felt intimidated to enter the “barbell” area weight room and was afraid of looking clueless, she eventually became a lifter.
With the help of others, watching countless video demos, doing the reading, and being patient, and consistent she learned how to lift.
Lifting more than any other type of fitness gave her the results she'd always been after both mentally and physically and improved her confidence.
She loves sharing her knowledge and helping others realize all that they’re capable of through strength.
